Full immersion into one of the most extraordinary places of antiquity. The new audio-video-guide of the Baths of Diocletian.
The spa complex dedicated to Diocletian relives in all its ancient splendor thanks to special goggles that the audience can wear along the discovery path of the Museo Nazionale Romano, directed by Daniela Porro.
“Cardboard Virtual Reality” is the name of the new portable technology, with available audio-guides in Italian and English, which from today realizes the visit inside the monument: the 3D reconstruction at 360°, perfectly overlapping the real vision of the Baths, produces as such an extraordinary effect of perceptual enhancement and an immediate understanding of the authentic appearance of architectural spaces.
A real journey through time between the past and the present, a continuous and instant switch between what is around us at present and what, in the past, expressed the majesty of Rome with its decorative richness.
The audio-video-guide has been realized by Museo Nazionale Romano with the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in collaboration with Electa and Coopculture.
