The Ara as it was is the first enhancement and augmented reality of one of the most important masterpieces of Roman art. An opportunity to witness the innovative story about the Ara Pacis and the origins of Rome, further enhanced by 2 new subjects in Virtual Reality. Combining live film shoots, 3D reconstructions and computer graphics.
The project, promoted by Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Crescita culturale – Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali and organized by Zètema Progetto Cultura, curated by ETT SpA. The coordination, the scientific direction, the copywriting and the scenes are designed by the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali. The characters are being voiced by Luca Ward and Manuela Mandracchia.
