From 2 to 8 July The Goethe-Institut Rom, the MACRO Asylum, the Spanish Academy, the Vascello Theater, the Accademia di Spagna, Teatro Vascello, Auditorium Parco della musica and Parco Tecnologico Tiburtino will host the rich programme of the Festival, which this year is entitled “interattivo adattivo”.
The ArteScienza Festival, curated by Laura Bianchini and Michelangelo Lupone, organized by the CRM – Centro Ricerche Musicali, will animate once again some of the most culturally active places in the capital, with artistic sound installations, sculptural-musical projects, concerts, performances, meetings and masterclasses.
The rich programming is based both on the concept of interactivity and on that of adaptive art, which is based on the importance of a work that receives or perceives the stimuli coming from the outside, modifying its state according to the context. An example, in this sense, is the new MACRO Asylum in Rome which, for the occasion, will change its appearance every day and will be renewed daily from 2 to 7 July.
Also you mustn’t miss the inevitable “Midsummer Festival” which will enliven the spaces of the Goethe-Institut Rom on Tuesday, 2 July from 8.30 p.m. with site-specific concerts and sound installations available until 8 July. Among the shows at the Vascello Theater, the Italian premiere of the “Flashback” ensemble for Gekipe, interactive gestural interfaces, percussion, electronics is scheduled on 5 July.
