A journey of discovery around the world of the sea and boating awaits visitors to the 6th edition of Big Blue, which this year has earned itself the qualification of  ‘International Show’. Thanks to the growing number of visitors and stands the event has been able to expand its remit, becoming one of the most keenly awaited boat shows as well as the largest Italian festival of the sea in its broadest sense. Boats of all kinds, from rubber dinghies to luxury yachts, motor boats and sailing boats, a rich programme of cultural events around the theme of the underwater world, an innovative layout, with everything ranging from food and drink to technical clothing and equipment, underwater photography and the latest generation of technical instrumentation, will contribute to the show’s success  as point of reference for the whole of the Mediterranean basin.
The 2012 edition of the show will also focus on marine chartering, a sector that is very much on the increase, with the presence of charter companies, brokers, shipbuilders and tour operators.
In view of the approaching London Olympics, the stand of the Italian Sailing Federation will host the national team on its return from Australia where it took part in the World Championships to qualify for the summer’s event.
